Campbell Kwan‘s recent article in the The Australian Financial Review highlights the issues faced by apartment owners as a result of the NSW Design and Building Practitioners Act 2020.
Tom Forrest, Urban Taskforce CEO commented “Apartment owners now have to comply with the same requirements as a builder that can build three storeys or higher, which has pushed up the price of construction and repairs even though having a big stick is a good thing.”
