It was a strong turnout for this morning’s Urban Taskforce morning tea on the Biodiversity Offsets Scheme and NSW Plan for Nature reforms.
Biodiversity reforms are on their way, with the Department of Climate Change, Energy, the Environment and Water (DCCEEW) exploring changes to strengthen biodiversity protection while supporting development.
Thank you to Amy Dumbrell from DCCEEW for sharing insights on how the Department plans to make biodiversity assessments simpler and more effective.
As always, a huge thanks to Allens for hosting this worthwhile event.
