Urban Taskforce Australia appreciates the Department’s intent to make the planning system faster, fairer, and more outcomes focused through initiatives such as these proposed variations and changes to the Codes SEPP.
We support the proposed variations. We welcome the intent of these changes which are to ensure a streamlined approvals for low risk, low impact development by introducing greater flexibility within the existing complying development framework.
