Sydney Water is inviting public comment on draft developer charges for the Rouse Hill recycled water system. The Rouse Hill recycled water area includes the suburbs of Acacia Gardens, Beaumont Hills, Castle Hill, Glenwood, Kellyville, Kellyville Ridge, Parklea, Quakers Hill, Stanhope Gardens, North Kellyville, Area 20 and Rouse Hill.
Sydney Water proposes to increase the existing charge of $3,340 to $4,085 for each new dwelling. Apparently the new charge has been calculated in accordance with the method set by IPART which requires Sydney Water to include more infrastructure than previously reflected in the charge.
Details of the new charges are in the draft Development Servicing Plan. Submissions on the new charges will be accepted until 1 July 2011. Please contact us if you have any comments or concerns.
