Urban Taskforce Australia has received reports from some concerned members regarding Blacktown City Council’s approach to development in the new areas of Riverstone East.
Rezoning for Stage 3 of the Riverstone East precinct was finalised in May, 2025, and it is our understanding that no applications have been submitted for approval in the seven months following. This reflects a problem.
Of particular concern is the lack of a s.7.11 contributions plan for the area and the reported approach to developer contributions in its absence.
