The winner of Urban Taskforce Australia’s Retail Development Award is Woolworths Fishermans Bend by Woolworths Group.
Chair of the DEA Judging Panel, Chris Johnson AM made the following comments on the winners:
“A clever reuse of an industrial warehouse with under cover car parking. The supermarket is a temporary 10-year lease to ensure early retail is available for the developing community at Fishermans Bend. Good use of colour and of public art.”
