Mr Forrest said a community advocate to advise council on development might be sensible and reasonable, but the job title pre-determined the outcome.
“NIMBY groups have been effective in frustrating sound development proposals for years, forcing matters to the courts for any chance of sensible decision-making,” he said. “This will only make things worse.”
