CEO of Urban Taskforce Australia, Tom Forrest, said today that Kellie Sloane has locked in a strong pro-housing NSW Opposition team.
The promotion of Scott Farlow into the key Treasury portfolio reflects his strong contribution to the Opposition and his leadership role in securing bi-partisan support for the reforms to the Environmental Planning and Assessment Act.
Urban Taskforce also welcomes the appointment of Chris Rath to the Shadow Planning and Housing roles. Chris has a strong record in opposing red tape in planning regulation. Urban Taskforce looks forward to working with Chris to hold the Government to account and drive further planning reforms to support housing supply and affordability.
