Urban Taskforce CEO, Tom Forrest, said today that the latest figures from the ABS on housing approvals are showing an on-going roller coaster ride but the trend is heading in the right direction.
A solid improvement in the month of November 2025 comes off the back of a very weak result the previous month.
The annual performance in NSW saw 53,417 dwellings approved in the 12 months to November, 2025. The annual Accord target for NSW is 76,000 completed dwellings.
We remain a long way away from achieving that.
