Urban Taskforce CEO, Tom Forrest, said that today’s ABS dwelling approvals data shows encouraging growth and it confirms the importance of NSW to the National picture.
NSW seasonally adjusted approvals rose month on month from 3,680 in August 2025 to 4,800 in September. This is a solid improvement, but the number of stand-alone homes approved remains stubbornly low.
