The Ku-ring-gai Local Environmental Plan (Town Centres) 2010 was published yesterday. It covers the town centres of Roseville, Lindfield, Gordon, Pymble, Turramurra and St Ives. The government has still not, however, announced its position on development levies in Ku-ring-gai. Ku-ring-gai Council is proposing to impose a levy of around $25,000 to $34,000 on each of the new apartments.

Richmond Valley Council has a Draft Section 94A Development Contributions Plan on exhibition. The plan seeks a fixed contribution of up to 1 per cent of development cost. If made. Submissions will be accepted until 7 June 2010.  More information is here.

Woollahra Municipal Council is exhibiting a draft Contaminated Land DCP and will accept comments until Friday 18 June 2010. This plan will apply to all land within the Woollahra Municipality. Further information can be obtained from here.
