Disorder in the land court – The Daily Telegraph, 14.01.25

Today’s Daily Telegraph highlights another block in the road to housing supply in NSW.

In the past decade, there has been a 100% increase in the annual number of cases reviewed by the Land and Environment court in relation to Development Applications. Yet just one additional commissioner has been appointed in the past 10 years to hear cases.

Tom Forrest, Urban Taskforce CEO commented saying “It feels like warfare against developers, or you could call it lawfare”
