Urban Taskforce CEO, Tom Forrest, writes to the NSW Treasurer, Dominic Perrottet on behalf of the members to raise concerns regarding the system of infrastructure contributions applied to property development in NSW.
The property industry has been subject to inconsistent, unregulated and a rapidly increasing accumulation of taxes and charges related to the provision of State and Local infrastructure.
The Urban Taskforce has grave concerns that the cumulative impacts of these levies and charges is deterring investment in the property development industry and is having a negative impact the jobs, investment and growth associated with the industry.
