Urban Taskforce Australia is concerned that the proposed price per developable hectare of $1,188,548.15 for connecting a new development to the Integrated Stormwater Scheme, is prohibitive to development and threatens the success of the broader Aerotropolis. It is of significant concern that the development contribution proposed for this area is even higher than the $877,200 per developable hectare proposed for the Mamre Road precinct.
Setting a contributions framework that can fairly allocate resources to support precinct-scale infrastructure and its delivery as early as possible, is vital to the development of the Aerotropolis and the Western Sydney region.
