During a discussion this morning on 2GB’s Mornings with Mark Levy about NSW falling short of its Housing Accord targets, Urban Taskforce Chief Executive Tom Forrest said that some Sydney councils are performing better than others.
Tom said, Canada Bay, Hawkesbury Council, Burwood Council, Blue Mountains, Camden, Penrith, they’re all going really, really well. But the worst are Hunters Hill, Woollahra, Sydney, Northern Beaches and Hornsby. They’re all less than 45% of their target to date, so that’s a long way to catch up.”
