Urban Taskforce’s concerns about NSW’s slow housing approvals were picked up in radio news bulletins across the country, including on 2GB during Ben Fordham Live.
Following an Urban Taskforce media release yesterday saying the latest ABS data shows Australia is still falling well short on housing supply, CEO Tom Forrest told 2GB: “We need to have about 7,000 homes approved to be built every month. At the moment we’re getting about 4,500. So, you can see we’re well behind.”
