Last week Urban Taskforce CEO Tom Forrest attended a roundtable convened by Waverley Mayor, Will Nemesh on the plight of Bondi Junction.
Tom said that increasing heights and densities around Bondi Junction will drive housing and jobs and transform a underperforming , windswept town centre into the vibrant heart of Sydney’s east.
“We need to reactivate, revitalise and renew, imagine how disappointed tourists get when the train door opens and they’re in this windswept, concrete transport jungle – we need to get rid of the disappointment.”
