With the support of sponsors ALAND, Urban Taskforce Australia hosted three inspirational leaders of the property development industry: Professor Jennifer Westacott AO, Christina Renner, General Counsel at Winten Property Group; and Stephanie Partridge, General Manager of Development NSW from Goodman Group, who all came together as guest speakers at its ‘Women in Property Breakfast’, on Wednesday.
The speakers shared their personal experiences in a male-dominated industry, discussed current challenges that the sector faces and proposed strategies for improving housing delivery in NSW.
A lively panel discussion, expertly MC’d by Allens Partner Felicity Rourke GAICD, who led discussion before a full house, and emphasised the urgent need to address the housing crisis, the impacts of failure, and the importance of role models, mentors and confidence for success in our sector.
