The NSW State led Housing Delivery Authority has been under review by the Department of Planning, Housing and Infrastructure after its first year, recommending the scheme be scaled back to include the exclusion of three key areas of Sydney – its CBD, North Sydney and Parramatta.
CEO of Urban Taskforce Australia, Tom Forrest told the Sydney Morning Herald, “By setting parameters that deny the cost of construction and the realities of a tight or negative feasibility equation, we fear that they are effectively killing off the benefits of the HDA.”
