In an article by Matthew Benns published in Daily Telegraph today, Urban Taskforce CEO Tom Forrest was quoted saying “NSW’s complex planning system, in which the commission [GCC] has an overarching role, was killing housing supply and driving up prices.”
“There is a desperate need to link housing supply and new jobs with infrastructure delivery and sound planning,” Mr Forrest said, adding major [infrastructure] projects were coming in late and over budget.”
