“We understand that the NSW Government is committed to measures to improve the independence of certifiers and seeks feedback on a proposal to introduce new methods for appointment of private certifiers. The premise of these proposed reforms is to “minimise the opportunities for these certifiers to face pressures that could compromise their ability to act in the public interest”.”
