The three papers released – A New Approach to Strategic Planning; Statewide Policy for Industrial Lands; and the draft Sydney Plan – provide a reasonable insight into the NSW Government’s plans and answer some questions while raising others.
Urban Taskforce Australia believes that the picture is not complete, and members have some concerns about potential conflicts, inconsistencies, and uncertainties when it comes to reconciling the proposed Plan with existing Government policy goals.
We welcome the chance to provide feedback on these documents on behalf of our members and appreciate the complexity involved in developing regional plans and policies for strategic planning across the State.
