Tom Forrest, Urban Taskforce CEO called for “leadership from government” in today’s The Australian Financial Review in relation to the ongoing industrial dispute between the ETU and the energy companies.
Mr Forrest estimated that bans have disrupted the construction of between 7,000 and 10,000 homes – “with this scope of economic loss for third parties, completely unrelated to the dispute, both the Minns government and the federal government should be making an application to the FWC to amend the protected action to prevent this impact.
