Urban Taskforce Australia supports the proposed expansion of the Oran Park Town Centre and the associated amendments to planning controls that will enable additional housing and employment opportunities in one of Sydney’s fastest-growing regions.
Oran Park is a key component of the South West Growth Area and is planned to deliver a large master planned community supported by schools, open space, services and employment opportunities.
As the population of the Camden local government area continues to grow rapidly, it is important that planning controls allow the Town Centre to evolve in order to accommodate additional residents, businesses and services.
