The appointment of Nick Greiner as the inaugural chairman of Infrastructure NSW has been applauded by the Urban Taskforce. The Taskforces chief executive, Aaron Gadiel, said the NSW Government could not have picked a more suitable person for the role.
As premier, Nick Greiner pioneered the public-private partnership model, Mr Gadiel said.
Since his time in government, Mr Greiner has served with distinction as a highly regarded business leader.
This is an excellent start to the NSW Governments newest institution.
This appointment strengthens the perception that the new government will be taking concrete steps to deliver on its infrastructure plans.
The Urban Taskforce is a property development industry group, representing Australias most prominent property developers and equity financiers.
