NSW’s new ministry has been sworn in. Some key appointments of interest are:
- the Premier, Barry O’Farrell, has also been sworn as Minister for Western Sydney;
- the Deputy Premier, Andrew Stoner, is also Minister for Regional Infrastructure and Services;
- Brad Hazzard has been appointed Minister for Planning and Infrastructure;
- Gladys Berejiklian is Minister for Transport;
- Mike Baird is Treasurer;
- Robyn Parker is Minister for the Environment, and Minister for Heritage;
- Mike Gallacher is the Minister for the Hunter (as well as Police Minister);
- National Party MP Duncan Gay is Minister for Roads and Ports;
- Chris Hartcher is Minister for Resources and Energy and Minister for the Central Coast;
- Greg Pearce is Minister for Finance and Services as well as Minister for the Illawarra;
- Katrina Hodgkinson – a Nationals MP – is Minister for Primary Industries;
- Don Page is Minister for Local Government and Minister for the North Coast;
- Anthony Roberts is Minister for Fair Trading; and
- Kevin Humphries is Minister for Western NSW, as well as being Minister for Mental Health, Minister for Healthy Lifestyles.
