Urban Taskforce chief executive Tom Forrest thinks the Bates Smart scheme is worthy of consideration.
“It did appear to deliver a greater housing outcome, which would certainly mean more social and affordable housing, as well as more market housing,” he said.
“It also delivered what seemed to be a far more aesthetically pleasing and usable parkland right in the middle of where all the tall buildings were. What’s not to like?”
