Urban Taskforce Australia has reviewed both the Draft DCP and the Council’s meeting notes and is concerned over the distinct lack of detail about how the changes will be applied.
We remain unconvinced by the Council’s justification for and reasoning behind the proposed amendments and believe that are being rushed due to political considerations rather than to achieve good policy outcomes.
The changes are imbued with subjectivity and will only create uncertainty for all stakeholders.
