Rising interest rates are pushing up housing costs and making it harder to get supply moving, with Urban Taskforce CEO Tom Forrest saying governments need to rein in spending to take pressure off inflation. Tom says if we want to see rates come down and housing become more affordable, we need to cut back expenditure and focus on the infrastructure that actually supports new housing.
