Acting CEO of Urban Taskforce, Stephen Fenn, today said the property industry had lost a titan with the passing of Toga founder Ervin Vidor AM.
Mr Vidor’s story reflects the richness and success of the broader Australian story since the end of the Second World War – a journey from postwar Hungary to the pinnacle of Australia’s property and hotel sector – which has left an enduring mark on the industry and the nation.
As co-founder of TOGA Group in 1963 (along with his wife Charlotte Vidor AM and Antonino Stillone), Mr Vidor transformed the sector through a legacy of high-quality homes, hotels and mixed-use precincts.
