8 GARDENS OF AUBURN BY LFD DEVELOPMENTS CREATES A NEW COMMUNITY CLOSE TO AUBURN STATION www.lfddev.com.au The Gardens of Auburn development includes six buildings distributed around a number of landscaped parks. The buildings contain 530 apartments and 12 retail shops that face the street and the gardens. The project has an overall floor space ratio of 3.6:1 and the gardens are spread over 4,300 square metres and they will be accessible to the broader community as well as the residents. The Gardens of Auburn buildings are designed as fingers of apartment that connect to a street edge building that contains retail outlets. The fingers are carefully designed to step down as they reach the site edge and as a response to solar access. Between the fingers are the landscaped parkland areas which the apartments overlook. The site is well located near Auburn Town Centre and Auburn rail station which connects directly to Parramatta. Most of the developments around Auburn Station have very little landscape so the LFD project will be adding much needed green landscape to the Auburn Town Centre.
