Chris Johnson AM
Chief Executive Officer

Chris Johnson is a former NSW Government Architect and former Executive Director at the NSW Department of Planning. He has extensive experience in the planning system and the delivery of major projects.

Chris was a member of the Central Sydney Planning Committee for 10 years and the NSW Heritage Council and has represented New South Wales on many national bodies.

He is a life Fellow of the Australian Institute of Architects (AIA) and a member of the Planning Institute of Australia (PIA). He has written 14 books on planning and architecture and has been an adjunct professor at three universities in New South Wales.

Chris has a Bachelor of Architecture from Sydney University; a Master of the Built Environment from the University of Technology, Sydney; a Master of Architecture from the University of New South Wales and a Master of Cultural Heritage from Deakin University.

Chris Johnson was Director of Chris Johnson Special Projects for 3 years undertaking consulting services in the areas of architecture, planning and urban design. He was also the recipitent of the Byera Hadley Travelling Scholarship award for 2011.

Annie Manson
Planning and Policy Manager

Previously, Annie has spent several years working as a Senior Adviser for the former Director General of the Department of Planning & Environment, She has also worked at Sydney Water, Land and Housing Corporation and for an architecture firm, Lubor Trubka & Associates.

She has a Bachelor of Environmental Management from Macquarie University, a Master of Town Planning from University of New South Wales and is currently completing a Master of Business Administration by correspondence at Edith Cowan University.

Nicola Baume
Events and Membership Manager

Nicola is responsible for supporting the Chief Executive Officer and Event and Membership Management.

Nicola generates information to our current and new members. She co-ordinates all events held throughout the year including luncheons, industry briefings, committee networking events. She also manages the annual Development Excellence Awards and Property Person of the Year Award. Prior to working at Urban Taskforce, Nicola was working at Primary Health Care supporting recruitment of doctors.

Dipti Parkhi
Media and Admin Coordinator

Dipti is responsible for Media and Admin Coordination along with providing support in Event Management.

Dipti is in charge of the media offerings of the Urban Taskforce that include managing media releases, updating newsletters and generating various other event/research collaterals. She is responsible for website management and also provides coordination support for the Taskforce events. Moreover she looks after the overall office Administration. She has a Masters in Communication Management from India.
