As General Manager of Meriton for over 30 years, Peter was on the Urban Taskforce Executive Committee and served as Deputy Chair until 2014. Peter comes with a wealth of experience in property development, construction, architecture, corporate governance and affordable housing.
Like the economy generally, property developers have been set back by the Covid 19 recession in 2020. Peter has a tremendous amount of experience navigating and leading a large organisation like Meriton through tough economic times. He saw Meriton through the early 90’s recession and the 2008 GFC. Peter is the right Chair for the Urban Taskforce during these uncertain times.
