The Urban Taskforce Australia is independent and engages constructively with the government, opposition, media and community on issues associated with property development and the urban environment. Our founding Patron was the Hon. Neville Wran
AC QC and our current Patron is the Hon. Nick Greiner AC.

 
 

Message from the Patron of the Urban Taskforce Australia- the Hon.
Nick Greiner AC, former Premier of NSW.
 
Government alone cannot provide all the answers. It is important that the people who plan and build our cities play an active role in finding better ways of improving urban life for everyone.

The Urban Taskforce provides a forum for the people involved in growing our cities to have a say in the decision that affect them. It aims to bring new ideas to the table and to actively engage in debates on the future of our cities.

The membership includes developers, builders, architects, urban planners, economists, lawyers and other professionals involved in the planning and development industry.

The Urban Taskforce undertakes a range of activities throughout the year including forums with key decision-makers, responses for legislation and production of discussion papers. It is an opportunity for members to show how the system can work better.

I encourage you to support the work of the Urban Taskforce and play an active role in making our cities the best they can be.
