State Significant Development exemption for City of Sydney
“The property development industry opposes the exemption from the provisions of the new State Significant Reforms for the City of Sydney. These reforms were announced by Minister Craig Knowles last week and may include an exemption for the City of Sydney,” Sue Robinson, Executive General Manager of the NSW Urban Taskforce said.

State Significant Development Reforms
"The State Significant Reforms announced this morning are extremely positive as they will provide upfront certainty to assist in achieving major project approvals of state and regional priority. The reforms are long overdue and will cut the bureaucratic red tape which has been crippling the development industry.

Much needed urban renewal hampered by lack of certainty
“The Carlton and United site is an example of the difficulties in getting much needed major urban renewal approvals up and running. Developers need certainty and can't afford the holding costs whilst government sits on their hands in an extended assessment process. We need joint local and state government action now to provide certainty on major urban renewal sites,” Sue Robinson, Executive General Manager of the NSW Urban Taskforce said.

Conservation Ruling Endangers Jobs, Progress In Hunter

Taskforce calls for certainty over future of Hunter Lands
