Improving the quality of our urban communities
is one of the greatest challenges we all face in the 21st
century.
Growing cities and regions provide the engine room for
the economy - creating jobs and investment benefiting
everyone. We need to balance the economic benefits with
initiatives that protect our environment and quality of
life.
The Urban Taskforce is a non-profit organisation representing Australia's most prominent
property developers and equity financiers. We provide
a forum for people involved in the development and planning
of the urban environment to engage in constructive dialogue
with both government and the community.
The activities of the Urban Taskforce are overseen by an Executive Committee elected by the Taskforce's membership. The committee includes some of Australia's leading property developers.
